PRESIDENT JACOB RODRIGUEZ
Pastor Jacob Rodriguez is a fifth generation Apostolic and third generation pastor. He received the call to preach at the age of 12 and was groomed by his father Bishop Joseph V. Rodriguez. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16 and was ordained as a minister at the age of 21. Then at the age of 22, Pastor Jacob became one of the youngest published authors in the Apostolic Assembly when he wrote his first book, The Woman’s Touch. Since then, he has authored numerous books and ministered to thousands, both nationally and internationally.
Pastor Jacob has served in youth ministry and church leadership at various levels throughout his trajectory. In addition to attending Christian Life College (Stockton, CA), Pastor Jacob also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from the International Apostolic Bible College (CBAI).
From 2010-2012, Pastor Jacob served as the Leadership Coordinator for the National Messengers of Peace. From 2012-2016, he served as Secretary of the National Messengers of Peace. In November of 2016, Pastor Jacob Rodriguez was elected President of the National Messengers of Peace and currently serves in this office.
Pastor Jacob is also the Founder and Lead Pastor of CityLight Church in Mountain View, CA www.citylightonline.org. He and his wife Cherie and their two children, Makai and Chloe, live in the Bay Area.
SECRETARY ALEX CORDOBA
Alexander Cordoba was born and raised in Miami, Florida where, at the age of thirteen, he made the best decision of his life, to be baptized in the mighty name of Jesus. God stirred a deep passion in his life to preach the Gospel to the young people where he was mentored by Bishop John Fortino.
Alexander was set aside for the ministry in 2006 and ordained as a minister in 2011. He has served the young people in various capacities. His leadership began in a local level at Fountain of Life Apostolic Church, where he served as the local youth president for many years, and was eventually honored to serve the Florida District Messengers of Peace.
At the age of twenty-two, he moved to North Texas District and continued to work in the local level as well as the district level. He currently serves as the NTD Messengers of Peace president. In 2016 he had the privilege to serve as a national coordinator, and marry his wife Melissa. Later that year he was elected as the National Secretary of the Messengers of Peace.
Alexander is also the co-pastor at Arlington Apostolic church where him and his wife also serve as youth pastors. They currently reside in Grand Prairie, Texas.
TREASURER DR. OSWALDO MORENO
Dr. Oswaldo Moreno was raised in Queen Creek, Arizona - a town in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area. It was here at the age of fourteen, the Lord began to call him to ministry. He soon realized he would spend his life serving others and "bringing light, love, hope, and the gospel o those in need."
After obtaining a bachelors degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, Dr. Moreno moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue a masters and doctorate degree (PH.D.) in Clinical Psychology. While in Boston, Dr. Moreno received clinical and applied training at Clark University, the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Harvard Medical School, and Boston University School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Moreno is a MTS candidate at Harvard University and a postdoctoral fellow at Brown University.
While in Boston, Dr. Moreno served as the local youth president, worship leader, Sunday school teacher, and the local church secretary. He is currently the assistant pastor of Boston Apostolic Lighthouse in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to his position as the treasurer for the National Messengers of Peace, Dr. Moreno served as the Northeast District Messengers of Peace President.
His life's philosophy has been to "empower the next generation to learn and grow in life" and "to equip the next generation to reach their God given potential." It is through his willingness to serve that God has allowed him to work in different areas of ministry.
Dr. Moreno is married to Luisana Moreno since 2012. Together, they are happily raising their daughter, Faith. The Moreno ladies have played a significant role in his ministry.
